What does LIC's Jeevan Anurag Offer you ?
  1. 3 installments of 20% each of the sum insured (known as survival benefits) at the end of n-3, n-2 and n-1 years where n is the policy term,
  2. 40% of the sum insured + bonus on the full sum insured at the end of the policy term,
  3. Face Value of the policy on your expiry anytime before completion of the policy term,
  4. Face value of the policy but not exceeding Rs 50 Lakhs in case death is by accident before completion of the policy against a little extra,
  5. Term Insurance and Critical Illness rider against extra premium and
  6. Policy Loan at a simple interest of 9 % per annum.
Why Should You Invest On LIC's Jeevan Anurag ?
  1. Survival Benefits available under the plan as above are irrespective of whether you are alive or not. They are fixed. As a result, by choosing different policy terms ranging from next 10 to 25 years, you can create a regular cash flow for next 7 to 22 years.
  2. Face value of the policy payable on your expiry to your nominee is independent of the Survival Benefits due under the plan. In otherwords, survival benefits continue to be paid as and when they are due irrespective of whether you are alive or not. What more, premium payment comes to an end with your expiry but the benefits continue till completion of the policy term !
  3. Facility for policy loan available under the plan enables you raise funds in case of emergency without sacrificing any of the benefits assured by the plan. What more, interest paid on the policy loan can be claimed as business expense, if you are employing the loan in your business.
  4. Premium you pay qualifies for I.T exemption under section 80C of the I.T Act with in the overall limit of Rs 1,00,000/-.
  5. Policy proceeds/survival benefits received under the plan enjoy I.T exemption under section 10(10D) of the I.T act provided you choose recurring premium and not under single premium .
How Long You need to Invest On LIC's Jeevan Anurag before getting the above package?
  • 10 or 15 or 20 years ceasing at death, if it occurs early.
